Lyngby Boldklub is bringing more Icelandic blood to the squad. According to Fótbolti.net, the Superliga club is leasing 19-year-old David Helgi Aronsson from Víkingur. The blue kings get an option to buy in the agreement, it says. The young defender is currently on loan to Keflavík, but it now seems that he will be heading to Denmark instead.
David Helgi Aronsson has been a regular on several Icelandic youth national teams. On the U19 team, it has so far been 13 appearances with a single goal to his name. Lyngby Boldklub already has Icelandic players such as Isak Snær Thorvaldsson and Daníel Freyr Kristjánsson on the roster.
The Superliga transfer poker game is in full swing, and Lyngby Boldklub is not immune to the game. The club has already leased several players from abroad, and now it seems that they are on the verge of bringing yet another Icelandic talent to the squad.
