Lyngby Boldklub has made the surprising decision to fire coach Magne Hoseth after just 50 days in the role. Hoseth, who led the club in two matches with two losses, expressed his shock at the decision, describing it as a surprise. The club has stated that the firing is not due to results but rather a 'misjudgment' on their part. Lyngby director Andreas Byder stated that the club is deeply saddened by the situation and will do everything to support Hoseth and his family. Hoseth came to Lyngby from Faroese Klaksvik, where he had great success, and he had expected to implement his ideas over a longer period. Although his time at the club was short, he thanked both the players and management for their support and understanding. Lyngby Boldklub currently sits in ninth place in the Danish Superliga after 19 matches.
