Lyngby Boldklub is in crisis after a controversial sponsor trip to Madrid. Major shareholder Hellerup Finans demands that CEO Christian Hill-Madsen leaves the club.
What happened?
On the trip to Madrid, Christian Hill-Madsen chose to take a detour to a strip bar, which did not fall in good favor with Hellerup Finans.
Why is it important for Lyngby Boldklub?
The club is currently number one in the 1. Division with 42 points, 12 wins, 6 draws and 4 losses in 22 games. They also have a good goal score of 49 goals scored and 25 goals conceded.

What's next?
Hellerup Finans has given Lyngby Boldklub an ultimatum: Either the club buys the 46 percent of the shares that Hellerup Finans owns for a value of 2.3 million kr., or Christian Hill-Madsen leaves the club.
Lyngby Boldklub has until December 31 to raise the capital. Torben Jensen, CEO and founder of Hellerup Finans, says that the reason for the agreement is that things happened on the trip to Madrid that the major shareholder cannot stand for.
